US Company High Power Exploration Inc (“HPX”) announced today key appointments to its leadership team as it pursues its growth strategy. The appointments add depth to the leadership team and create clear reporting
structures as the Company advances its development plans for the Kon Kweni, Nimba iron ore project in Guinea, the St John River iron ore project in Liberia and other corporate and project initiatives.
HPX President and CEO, Bronwyn Barnes, commented:
“The expansion of our leadership team has been strategically designed to build on our core competencies and ensure we have sufficient resources to deliver on our corporate and project objectives in the next few months. As we prepare for construction of Phase 1 of Kon Kweni, Nimba, we need to ensure that we have the right systems and processes in place to welcome an increased construction workforce in both Guinea and Liberia. The central functions of finance, human resources and communications will be key to our successful preconstruction planning and the appointment of leaders to each of these roles is timely as we approach final investment decision in early 2025.
The recent acquisition of the St John River iron ore project in Liberia is a clear demonstration that HPX is actively pursuing additional projects that are high quality where we can create value. The Company continues to actively review additional projects, and an expansion of our key leadership group provides the resources we will require to support this process.
I warmly welcome the new members of the HPX team and look forward to working with them to build HPX into a leading US exploration and development company focused on creating value through the identification of opportunities that meet the needs of the critical mineral supply chain.”
